Sunset's Supply list for the 2025-2026 school year is on up the Sunset website. Visit Sunset's homepage and click on Academics, school supply. Please try to stick with the brand the grade levels are recommending.

If your student has medication stored in the health room, we kindly ask that it be picked up by an adult on June 24 or June 25.

If your child participates in the Title Reading or Math program, we would greatly appreciate your feedback and ideas for how we can continue to make the program even better. In life, we never know when opportunity will knock. Next year, I am stepping into a new role as the Principal on Special Assignment overseeing the Academy for Community Transition (ACT) program.

The Issaquah School District is beginning the important work of planning replacement levy measures that may appear on the February 2026 ballot, pending School Board approval. These local levy dollars help fill the gap between what the state funds and what it actually costs to run a high-performing public school system. The Levy Advisory Committee will help ensure the 2026 proposal reflects community priorities. Volunteer interest survey enclosed.

The district’s new Capital Projects Oversight Committee met for the second time on June 17. The 26-member committee is made up volunteers from relevant industries and community representatives who add an additional layer of review and evaluation to the district's management of voter-approved bond and capital levy funds.

Elementary report cards for the second semester will be live and available for parent viewing on Family Access June 25 at 4:00 p.m. Directions for how you can access and view your student’s report card can be found on the district website. Blank translations of the report cards are also available on the district website in Spanish, Chinese, Korean, and Russian.
