A March to Remember at Sunset Elementary

Performance of dragon dance puppet with students watching

March might have been a long month, but it was one full of fun things at Sunset. From author visits to our culture and heritage festival, McTeacher night and choir concerts, Sunset was buzzing!

McTeacher night was a fun filled evening to support our PTA and raised a little over $2000 in one night!

Then our K-2 classes got a fun author visit from Papilio authors Ben Clanton and Andy Musser. 2nd graders also showed their singing skills with a wonderful concert put on by music teacher's Ms. Bean and Mr. Johnson singing fun songs from movies like Jungle Book and The Little Mermaid.

And the end of the month brought our wonderful Sunset tradition of our Culture and Heritage festival where sunset students got to share all their traditions and cultures with their peers.

We can’t wait to see what the next few months hold for Sunset, but we know more learning and fun around our community will be happening!
