Principal Announces Pajama Read-In as Students Reel In Second Celebration of the Year

At Sunset, the students earn sockeye cents for following the sockeye expectations; Be Respectful, Be Responsible, Be Safe and Be Caring. When classrooms have earned 25 sockeye cents they get to put a fish in the school fish bowl located in the atrium of the school. The students filled up the fish bowl for the second time this school year and earned a schoolwide celebration. In years past, normally they have just done an extra recess. But this time they got to have a pajama day and D.E.A.R (Drop everything and Read) read-in in their classrooms.

At 2:50 on January 10 Principal Tuupo came over the intercom to announce that the read-in would begin and all classrooms participated. It was a fun and cozy event to end the first week back at school!
