Sensational Sockeyes Celebrate Weekly Lunch with Principal

Sensational sockeyes has always been a weekly event at Sunset, but this year something special has been added. This year, new principal to Sunset, Kathy Keegan, has started doing lunch with the weekly sensational sockeyes from each classroom. The students get to join her each Wednesday on the stage and have lunch with her. While they are having lunch, Mrs. Keegan reads to each student why their teacher nominated them as a sensational sockeye. They also get a little prize to go along with the special certificate. This has been such a fun addition to Sunset and the students enjoy it and look forward to it each week.
